The project:
From a selection of 400 earth paintings of the blue planet, the buyer
chooses his painting and becomes art collector.
Earth who cares is a project in the Internet art world. The earth is not sick - it's just going to change. The message is the artistic process which mobilises your own powers - to
get us change things.
The ritual:
A ritual is connected with the act of buying the painting. The collector
submits his personal statement concerning the topic "earth" and a photo of himself or
about the subject. He provides a message and receives feedback in return. This is the
artistic claim: Encourage change.
The paintings:
Front Verso
Each painting of the blue planet is a unicum, a hand painted original.
Size of painting: 30.0 x
30.0 x 1.8 cm
Material: stretched
canvas
Technique: hand
painted, acrylic and - depending on the motif - collage.
The paintings are monogrammed on the front side in the right-hand bottom
corner.
Verso: Label dated January 2007, numbered, hand signed and stamped in
red by the artist. The number of the painting is also found on the edge of the
painting, on the far right. The number is recorded.
400 originals, divided into 20 serials of paintings.
Purchase of paintings:
The value of each painting amounts to $ 621.-- The price of
each painting is graded. At the start of of the project there is a
discount of $ 600.-- After 10 paintings sold, the discount will be reduced by
$15.--. The current price of each
painting will be shown on the start page.

Delivery by mail:
The work of art of the blue planet will be delivered by mail - around
the globe.
The sender is Eugen Meier. The painting will be delivered by Swiss Post
